Job Description

Clinicor is seeking Trained Medication Aides to care for residents in an Assisted Living setting.

Trained Medication Aides are responsible for providing direct care to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse and perform nursing assistant duties as assigned.

Qualified candidates will have the following skills and abilities

Monitor and record health and behavior of all Residents/Tenants. Communicate such information with other members of the staff.

Take and record vital signs. This may also include emergency procedures and requesting emergency assistance.

Monitor Resident/Tenant medication and maintain records of medication administration.

Assist nurses in patient care by performing routine duties such as feeding, passing water and nourishments, bathing, skin care, shampooing, oral hygiene, cutting nails, positioning, shaving, toileting, providing and cleaning bedpans, changing linens, giving backrubs, restraining agitated or confused patients, answering patient call lights, and collecting urine, sputum and stool specimens.

Assist residents in maintaining mobility.

Maintain HIPAA compliance.

Requirements

Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program

Trained Medication Aide certification preferred

Current Mantoux and CPR

Schedule

Sunday through Saturday
AM shifts 6:30a-2:30p
PM shifts 2:30p-10:30p
NOC shifts 10:30p-6:30a
